Jeremiah currently holds a position as a professional school counselor, providing comprehensive counseling services along with crisis intervention, conflict resolution and counseling both in group and individual settings. This placement serves a diverse population including counseling mandated and at-risk youth. Jeremiah has facilitated and participated in a week-long professional development training and cultural immersion experience in Ifrane, Morocco. He worked with the Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane to develop and deliver culturally-based programs for faculty and staff to address international and domestic issues in Higher Education universities.
Jeremiah's previous experience at Penn State revolved around counseling, career development, community outreach, and cultural competency. While studying at Penn State, he received a graduate assistantship from the Office of Multicultural Programs in the College of Education during which he served as the student support coordinator for the the Office of Multicultural programs. Additionally, he was as a resident counselor for the Summer College Opportunity Program in Education (SCOPE) and served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations in the College of Education.
