Plans for 4th Annual Cycle-thon Under Way

News release announcing the 2009 Cycle-thon

The College of Education’s 4th annual Cycle-thon will be held Sunday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Park in State College. After the Ride/5K Fun Run-Walk, there will be a picnic in the pavilion with free activities for the whole family, such as face-painting, bike demonstrations, and games. There will also be awards and prizes. 

All proceeds benefit the Summer College Opportunity Program in Education (SCOPE). SCOPE is a four-week on-campus initiative for high school students from historically underrepresented groups who are interested in pursuing a career in education.

$20.00 College students
$15.00 K–12 students
FREE for children 5 and under
