College Faculty Members Promoted, Awarded Tenure

Five faculty members in the College of Education have been granted promotions and/or tenure, effective July 1, 2007.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Five faculty members in the College of Education have been granted promotions and/or tenure, effective July 1.

Kathleen J. Bieschke
and Keith B. Wilson, both of the Department of Counselor Education, Counseling Psychologyand Rehabilitation Services, have been promoted to the rank of professor. Bieschke earned her doctorate degree from the University of Michigan, andWilson graduated with a doctorate degree from Ohio State University.

James C. DiPerna, of the Department of Educational and School Psychology and Special Education, has received a promotion to the rank of associate professor with tenure. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a doctorate degree.

David A. Gamson of the Department of Education Policy Studies was promoted to associate professor with tenure. Gamson earned his doctorate degree from Stanford University.

Richard A. Walter, associate professor in the Department of Learning and Performance Systems, was granted tenure. He earned his doctorate degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
