New Faculty and Staff

New faces in the College of Education

Compiled January 2009



Stephanie L. Knight, professor of educational psychology, joined the College's faculty effective with the Spring 2009 semester. She arrives from Texas A&M University. She earned an Ed.D. from the University of Houston, an M.A. in Secondary Education from Lehigh University, and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Kentucky.

 Her office is located at 226 CEDAR Building.

Kara Kauffman returned to the College of Education after a brief stint in the College of Health and Human Services. She is now working with the Center for Science and the Schools (CSATS) as a research technologist. Her office is in 182 Chambers Building.

Julia Muffler also is a new member of CSATS, where she is deputy director of the NASA Aerospace Education Services Project project. She arrives from Ohio, where she was director of a Challenger Learning Center.

June Kim recently joined the College as a research technician in the Pennsylvania School Study Council (PSSC), located in 200 Rackley Building.

Sheila Buckley is a new instructor and field experiences supervisor, working out of the Curriculum & Instruction Field Experiences Office, 170 Chambers Building.
