Mark Threeton, assistant professor of workforce education, was recently awarded the Outstanding Assistant Professor Award by the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education. This award is based on significant scholarly contributions to career and technical education research and practice.

Charles A. Hughes, professor of special education, received the Jeannette E. Fleischner Career Leadership Award from the International Council for Exceptional Children’s Division for Learning Disabilities.  This award acknowledges "Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Learning Disabilities."  The Council for Exceptional Children is the largest special education organization in the world.
