Dan has been a member of the University of Scranton faculty since 1990, where he co-founded the Center for Global Health and Rehabilitation. He is highly regarded for his dedication and sincere compassion for societal health issues. Dan challenges students to develop critical thinking skills that they could use to solve some of today’s most complex health care problems. He is a much-published author and is a board member of numerous health organizations, and recently named as the Graduate School’s representative to the College of Education’s Alumni Society board of directors. Dan was the recipient of the 2005 Leadership and Service Award sponsored by the Penn State College of Education Alumni Society.
