Fixed-term 2 Instructors, Education Theory and Policy Program and Education and Public Policy Program

Spring and Summer 2014

Appointment conditions:

The Education Theory and Policy Program and the Education and Public Policy Program are both located within the Department of Education Policy Studies.  The summer positions are dependent upon class enrollments; enrollments of less than 9 students will necessitate cancelling of the class and position.

These are one-semester appointments. Salary is competitive.

Responsibilities:

Using a syllabus and materials approved by the Education Theory and Policy Programs, teach courses in Education Theory and Policy and Education and Public Policy.

Required qualifications:

  • Evidence of an earned master's degree, or equivalent in graduate-level course work in education policy or a related field.
  • Evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching including use of current technology, commensurate with experience.
  • Evidence of a commitment to working collegially and with individuals from diverse backgrounds, commensurate with experience.
