Philanthropy in Action
Gifts to the College of Education make tangible differences in the lives of students and faculty. Philanthropy enables us to catalyze important advances in learning and provides the financial support our students need to realize their dream of a Penn State degree. We continue to have ambitious goals for the future and your donation is an important part of our path forward.
Below are a few examples of the myriad ways philanthropy benefits the College.
Brian W. ’89 BUS, ’04 MBA and Kristine E. Laubscher ’95 LA realized the importance of early childhood education and--wanting to honor Brian's mother, an elementary school teacher--have established a trustee scholarship.
Recognizing the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education, Gilbert and Donna Kahn established the Kahn Professorship in Education, which has been awarded to Dr. Carla Zembal-Saul.
Jennifer Sova '99 SEC ED supports the College of Education not only because her father attended the College, but also because of the great education and degree she received herself.
