Family Pathways
is a new four-component family literacy program in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This program exists through a partnership between the Goodling Institute and the Success Through Engagement and Partnership, Inc. (STEP) - Lycoming County Community Action Agency.

Family Pathways provides adult education, parenting classes, and interactive literacy activities for caregivers and children to families served in STEP’s Lycoming County Head Start and Early Head Start programs. All classes and services are offered at STEP's Round Hills campus in Williamsport.

Family Pathways services include:

  • Instruction in reading, writing, math, and technology skills
  • Preparation for the Commonwealth Secondary Diploma--GED® or HiSET®
  • Career exploration and employability workshops
  • Preparation for post-secondary classes
  • Parenting classes
  • Fun and educational family activities
