Short Bios

Maria Teresa Bautista

Dr. Maria "Teresa" Bautista is head teacher in the English department at Bacnotan National High School in the Philippines.  She will examine English language teaching and reading intervention.

Shahin Bayramov

Dr. Shahin Bayramov is Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Programs at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.  He is focused on higher education administration of international programs and partnerships.

Humberto Carro

Mr. Humberto Carro  is an education administrator at Universidad Tecnologica del Valle de Toluca, Mexico.  His interest areas include international education, student affairs, and institutional communication.

Gaspari Cordova

Mr. Gaspari Cordova  is an agriculture educator at Centro Escolar Mexico Junior College and Muffles Junior College in Belize.  He is interested in higher education administration, adult education and food science.

Amir Abbas Dehghan Banadaki

Mr. Amir Abbas Dehghan Banadaki is an EFL lecturer at Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran.  He wants to examine teacher education, multiculturalism, and international standardized testing of English during his Humphrey year.

Hazma Koudri

Mr. Hamza Koudri is a civic engagement and training specialist at World Learning in Algeria.  He is interested in student affairs, curriculum development, internships and service learning in higher education. 

Angela Niazmand

Ms. Angela Niazmand is the associate registrar at American University of Afghanistan in Kabul.  She is focused on best practices in higher education administration. 

Flor Olivares

Ms. Flor Olivares is a teacher and coordinator of the English teaching minor at Universidad de Oriente in San Miguel, El Salvador.  She aspires to increase internationalization of higher education in the eastern region of El Salvador. 

Muhammad Saeed

Mr. Muhammad Saeed is an English lecturer at Government Postgraduate Jahanzeb College in Swat, Pakistan and a tutor for TEFL programs at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad. He is focused on TESL and curriculum development in ELT.

Alisha Suhail

Ms. Aisha Suhail is the Head of Access to English Language Programs at CARE Foundation in Lahore, Pakistan.  She is interested in teaching English as a foreign language, teacher training, and educational leadership.
