Michael McCarty

Michael joined the Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy in August 2015 as the case manager and volunteer coordinator of the Career Pathways Program in Centre County.  In February of 2017, Michael additionally began working with eData Tech Support as a technology specialist.  Previously, Michael worked with families of at risk youth in Lock Haven, facilitating behavior intervention plans in the home and school for the youth.  After his experiences in Lock Haven, Michael then worked with individuals in Centre County with mental health and intellectual needs, collaborating with families, school staff, area agencies and supports on connecting those individuals with supports to address their mental health recovery.
