Mission: 

Our mission is to develop a supportive coalition for traditionally underrepresented students within the College of Education, aimed at promoting feelings of inclusion within the college community; developing a network of support for students working towards common career goals; and giving voice to the struggles, concerns, and achievements of underrepresented students within the college.

Vision: 

Our vision is to expand the community of the College of Education through the recruitment and retention of traditionally underrepresented students and foster an environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

 

Value Statements: 

EVALUATE – Evaluate the needs of traditionally underrepresented, undergraduate students within the College of Education in relation to the programs and services offered.

ENHANCE – Enhance standing programs and services offered by the College, in departments and organizations.

ESTABLISH – Establish programs and initiatives to support the academic achievement and emotional wellbeing of traditionally underrepresented students. 

EQUIP – Equip students with the tools necessary for success in college by offering opportunities for mentorship, tutoring, and professional developments.

ENGAGE - Engage traditionally underrepresented students  in the College of Education through outreach, panel discussions, and peer mentoring to ensure retention.
