EdLion Training Session - Part 3
The Spring 2014 EdLion Series will focus on psycho-pharmaceuticals and students. Part three of the three 1-hour sessions will explore other drugs such as: alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, and illegal drugs .
The presenter is Dr. Klein, an Associate Professor of Biobehavioral Health at Penn State University and Director of the Penn State Behavioral Neuroimmunomodulation Laboratory (BNIL). Her research focuses on the biobehavioral effects of stress on addictive behaviors including cigarette smoking and opioid abuse. Dr. Klein examines human and animal subjects in laboratory settings using a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates neuroendocrine, immunological, behavioral (e.g., drug use, eating), and psychological variables to evaluate sex differences biobehavioral responses to stress.
You must participate in all three live sessions to receive a certificate of completion which you can submit to your ACT 48 coordinator.
