Faculty and Staff Campaign Kicks Off in March

Penn State's Annual Giving office kicks off its annual Faculty and Staff Campaign to employees across the University.

By Pamela Batson (March 2008)

Penn State’s Annual Giving office is scheduled to kick off their annual Faculty and Staff Campaign at the end of March. The campaign provides an opportunity for University employees to help enhance the quality of the University's programs through their financial contributions.

Employees can direct their gifts to the college, campus, or program of their choice through a payment option that works best for them, including payroll deduction. For employees in the College of Education who want to give but are not sure where to direct their gift, Dean David Monk suggests giving to the College’s Future Fund. The University recently established Future Funds in each College to provide discretionary funds to use toward the Colleges’ highest priorities.

According to Dean Monk, “When faculty and staff choose to direct their philanthropy to the College it delivers a very powerful and positive message about the culture of this institution to our alumni and friends.”

More details and information on how to participate will be sent out to all employees at the end of the month. However, at any time you can visit www.giveto.psu.edu/AnnualFund to download a printable contribution form.

If you have any questions about directing a gift to the College or another fund within the University, please contact Ellie Dietrich, director of development, at 863-2146 or eld2@psu.edu.
