Ph.D. Candidate Helps More than 1,000 Teens in Professional Development

PHD Candidate Joseph Harford in the Workforce Education and Development Program helped more than 1,000 students heighten their awareness of the future role in the American free enterprise system at Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Joseph Harford, Ph.D. candidate in the workforce education and development program, interned at Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) this summer, helping more than 1,000 students heighten their awareness of the future role in the American free enterprise system. Harford assisted PFEW, located at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa., to develop an ethical decision-making program for teenagers that would impact their educational and professional futures.
