Student Congratulations (Compiled November 2013)

Kibum Kwon, a doctoral student in Workforce Education & Development, won a travel award from the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education to present a paper, "The Relationship between Organizational Transactive Memory Systems and Organizational Innovation: Mediating Effect of Developmental Leadership," at the 2014 Academy of Human Resource Development International Research Conference in the Americas to be held in Houston, Texas, during February 2014.

Talia Carroll was awarded a 2013 Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) Graduate Student Travel Scholarship. The purpose of the award is to support the ASHE graduate students and their travel to the national conference. Only graduate students whose conference proposals were accepted were considered for the award. Talia is presenting twice with colleagues from institutions across the country.

Alumnus Travis York is the winner of the 2013 International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement Dissertation Award. The award annually recognizes a dissertation that advances research on service-learning and/or community engagement through rigorous and innovative inquiry.
