Diverse Approaches to Diversity: A DCEC Poster & Resource Fair

Announcement of the 2011 DCEC Poster and Resource Fair

Have you encountered various diversity-related problems and solutions in your research, teaching, service, and workplace community? Have you considered ways to define diversity uniquely within your program, school, or group? Please share your experiences and resources with the College of Education.

The Diversity and Community Enhancement Committee (DCEC) invites faculty, staff, students, and colleagues to Diverse Approaches to Diversity: A DCEC Poster & Resource Fair.

The Fair will be held Friday, April 22, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at The Nittany Lion Inn. Our guest speaker is Terrell Jones, vice provost of educational equity, who will share his initiatives in approaching diversity in university. A full lunch buffet will be served.

All students, staff, faculty, and program affiliates are welcome to attend and participate. We would like to know how you think about diversity and enhance your community to embrace it in all its myriad forms. Your participation could take the form of a poster, a digital project, a piece of art, a curriculum guide, a resources table, or other forms appropriate to be displayed at a table in a large, open forum.
