Moodle

What is Moodle?

Moodle is an Online Classroom Platform where many of our courses are taught. It allows students to access the course materials and submit assignments online. Moodle is completely separate from other Penn State accounts in that a Moodle account is not automatically created and will have a completely separate password from Penn State's Webmail or Access accounts. Changing the password for Penn State will not change your password for Moodle and the reverse is true as well.

How do I get access?

Students who sign up for classes being taught through Moodle will manually be entered by Workforce Education. Courses will open online on the first day of classes for the semester. Students who have not completed their registrations before this date will not be able to access coursework. Signing up for a class, often referred to as 'Registering', is not the same as completing the Registration process. Please read the section on How to Complete your Registration.

How do I Log In?

To access Moodle, please go the the Penn State Workforce Education Moodle site at http://psucteonline.mrooms2.net.
You will want to click the (Log in) text in the upper right hand corner of the site.
Follow the instructions you have been sent via email regarding your Username and Password.

Trouble logging in or forgot your information?

If this is your first time logging in, and you believe your registration is complete, please contact Thomas Hunt at  or (814) 863-0805.

If you simply cannot remember your Username or Password, you can reset this yourself by clicking on the Forgotten your username or password? link just below the log in area.

How do I use Moodle?

The more you work with Moodle the easier it will be to use. For a brief overview of how to use Moodle, there is a Moodle 101 - Tips for using Moodle course on Moodle. You can access this course by clicking 'Log in as a guest.'

Need more help?
