Strategic Planning 2020
Message from the Dean:
The fall semester was one of listening and learning for me. With this deep dive into understanding the college, its strengths, and growth trajectory, now under my belt, I look forward to shifting gears a bit this spring to partner with the college as we endeavor to develop a new strategic plan. Our new strategic plan will help us coordinate our efforts and direct our focal areas of impact in the coming years.
The strategic planning committee was developed through consultation with the department chairs and is populated by members of each department, including tenure-line faculty, fixed-term faculty, and staff. Additional members of the committee (i.e., students, alumni, and other stakeholders) will be added as the work of the committee becomes more concretized. Jonna Kulikowich (EPCSE) and Ed Fuller (EPS) were elected as the chairs of the committee at the charge meeting that took place prior to winter break.
Opportunities to engage and participate across the college will be a core part of the process. These opportunities will include work within your departments and programs as well as through open forums.
