Housing
- Out of the Cold : Out of the Cold is located at 318 S Atherton St, State College, PA 16801. The day shelter and resource center is open 9 - 5 pm. The night shelter operates from 8 pm to 7:30 am and individuals seeking overnight shelter should register by 8 pm call 814-852-8864. Or, go to their website: https://www.outofthecoldcc.org/

- Basic Needs Form can be completed and submitted online: https://cm.maxient.com/reportingform.php?PennState&layout_id=27 They can also connect students with health advocates if they don’t have health insurance.
Food Options
- PSU Students- Lion Pantry on campus for free grocery and toiletry items with student ID (see hours): https://thelionspantry.psu.edu/accessingthepantry
- There are also cub pantries in the building where a student may walk in and snacks.
- St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Community Cafe: Located downtown on W. Foster Street, the cafe provides a free weekly meal to anyone, Thursdays 5-7pm at 208 W Foster Avenue, State College
- Abba Java Coffeehouse: at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church; Provides a safe study spot, small pantry with free self-serve coffee and tea, food, and Wi-Fi Monday-Thursday (9-5 pm) on the corner of Locust Lane & Calder Way
