CEEPA provides a host of services, including evaluations, proposal development, technical assistance, workshops, demonstrations, and presentations.

Evaluations

CEEPA researchers have much experience conducting program evaluation, policy analysis, concept mapping, cost analyses, feasibility studies, impact assessments, needs assessments, outcome evaluations, process evaluations, and proposal evaluations in the following sectors:
 

  • Public and private education (PK-12, higher, informal and non-formal, non-traditional)
  • Regional economies and workforce
  • Social services and public welfare
  • Health and human development services
  • Engineering services

Our areas of expertise will expand as the Center brings on additional evaluation specialists.

Technical Assistance

Center staff can provide technical assistance in the following areas:
 

  • Proposals for grants and contracts development.
  • Data collection and analysis strategies specification.
  • Evaluation planning.
  • Monitoring systems plans.
  • Data analyses (both quantitative and qualitative).
  • Instrument development and validation (e.g., questionnaires, interview protocols, focus group protocols, tests, etc.).
  • Database management.
  • Project management.

Members of our staff are certified as a Project Management Professional®.

Workshops, Demonstrations, and Lectures

The Center staff customizes workshops, demonstrations, and lectures to satisfy evaluation development needs and interests. Potential topics include:
 

  • Evaluation strategy review.
  • Use and interpretation of education data (achievement growth calculation, achievement gap assessment, comparison of performance across schools and over time, etc.).
  • Examination of myths and realities about education.
  • Research on principal effectiveness and turnover.
  • Consideration of research on teacher effectiveness and turnover.
  • Study of teacher and principal working conditions.
  • Evaluation project management.
  • Survey design strategies.
  • Evaluation of data analysis strategies.
     

Members of the staff have provided instruction in a variety of educational settings including public and private PK-12 education, higher education, informal and formal settings, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
