Programs Offered by the LDT Department

The LDT program prepares students to apply and conduct research on theoretical and conceptual frameworks of learning to design engaging and effective technology-enhanced learning environments and activities.  Our graduates pursue a wide range of careers in academia, corporate, and non-formal contexts. Typical careers include university professorships, corporate trainers, educational consultants and entrepreneurs, online teacher educators, directors of online programs, faculty consultants, museum educators, and of course, learning designers (aka instructional designers, learning engineers).
